We are looking for an Electronics Quality Inspector to perform incoming inspection of components, electronic boards, assemblies, and harnesses received from suppliers and subcontractors, in accordance with drawings, specifications, standards, and the company’s quality requirements. The role includes identifying deviations, documenting findings, opening non-conformities, and working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspection of electronic components, PCB/PCBA boards, harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, and raw materials.
- Verify compliance with purchase orders, part numbers, delivery notes, CoC, test reports, and manufacturer documentation.
- Conduct visual inspections of electronic boards according to IPC requirements, including soldering quality, missing or reversed components, mechanical damage, component markings, and cleanliness.
- Verify the compliance of boards and assemblies with drawings, BOMs, manufacturing specifications, and product files.
- Use basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, continuity testers, and other tools as needed.
- Document inspection results in quality/ERP systems and prepare incoming inspection reports.
- Open and document non-conformities, including NCR/MRB processes, with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Work with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to handle deviations and release items to production.
- Maintain traceability of components and products, including batch numbers, serial numbers, and related documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement processes with suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Electronics Technician or Practical Electronics Engineer.
- 2-4 years of previous experience in quality inspection in the electronics industry / electronics manufacturing / incoming inspection.
- Ability to read drawings, BOMs, technical specifications, electrical schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
- Familiarity with inspection of electronic components, electronic boards, and harnesses.
- Proficiency in using basic measuring tools.
- Organized work style, high accuracy, strong attention to detail, and high-level documentation and reporting skills.
- Technical English proficiency for reading documents, specifications, and supplier certificates.
Significant Advantage:
- Certification or familiarity with IPC standards, such as IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or J-STD-001.
- Experience working with ERP systems / Priority / Arena / Agile / SAP.
